LAHORE – PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique disclosed on Monday night that thousands of acres of precious land owned by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) had been transferred covertly to the Defense Housing Authority (DHA). He termed the allotment illegal and said his party would take up the issue on floor of the National Assembly. He stated this during a talk show aired by a local TV channel. He said the land was given to the DHA on a gazetted notification issued by the Ministry of Defense on January 5.
