Bahria Town presents Rs 50 million cheque to Edhi

KARACHI: A cheque of Rs 50 million was presented to philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi on behalf of Bahria Town on Friday.

The cheque was presented by Bahria Town Director Zain Malik.

On Sunday, world renowned social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi was held at gun point and deprived of cash and valuables estimated to be worth millions of rupees.

Ten armed men entered the Edhi office and made away with cash and valuables including Rs 10 million in cash as well as 5 kilograms of gold.
