Inauguration ceremony of Daewoo Bus Service was held on September 22, 2015 in DHA Lahore Phase-5. Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen Naweed Zaman graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Korean Ambassador Mr Jong Hwan Song, Administrator DHA Lahore Brig. Zafar Yaseen Babar and many foreign dignitaries were also attended the ceremonial occasion.
The imposing ceremony, held at DHA Lahore, Phase-5 Sector-L, commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Flag hoisting; by the Chief Guest Lt. Gen Naweed Zaman and Korean Ambassador; and a welcome address by the President of Daewoo International.
In his speech, Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen Naweed Zaman, said that ‘DHA Lahore and Daewoo Corp. have started many joint ventures of international standard’. He remarked that he was engrained by the consistent and brilliant efforts of Daewoo in achieving and maintaining high standards of service.
The President of Daewoo presented shields to Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen Naweed Zaman and Korean Ambassador Mr Jong Hwan Song. Officers of DHA Lahore and Daewoo Corp. were also present at the occasion.
