LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) chief justice Tuesday disposed of a suo moto notice against Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education for depriving a student of 3rd position in the recently announced inter exams.

Chairman and Secretary of the board appeared before the court and submitted that the issue rose due to clerical mistake and after two hours of declaration of the result, the board granted the 3rd position to the real position holder student Mohsin Raza.

The board authorities said that action has also been taken against the responsible officials for this negligence.The court after hearing the arguments by the BISE, Lahore disposed of the notice.
