LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) closed in the green zone on Tuesday. The LSE 25-share index finished at 2,418.54 points, addeding 31.58 points as against 2386.96 points witnessed a day earlier. The volume of market remained at 11.18 million shares, which was 1.84 million shares more than Monday’s turnover of 10.99 million shares. Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited was the major gainer as it gained Rs 4.44 to close at Rs 190.50 from its opening at Rs 186.06. Pakistan Oil Fields Limited ended at second place increasing by Rs 3.68 to close at 175.44 after opening at Rs 171.76. Shell Pakistan Limited was among the major loser as it lost Rs 5 to close at 240.00 as compared to its opening at Rs 245.00. Attock Refinery Limited also declined by Rs 1.55, as it opened at Rs 144.66 and closed at Rs 143.11. DG Khan Cement was among the volume leaders with 2.74 million shares. It lost Re 1 to close at Rs 34.36 as compared with its opening at Rs 35.36. Maple Leaf Cement Factory with 1.52 million shares was at second place.
