The law ministry has approved a controversial land deal between the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF), under which 150 acres near Shakarparian have been leased out to the federation for 99 years at a throwaway price of Rs41 per square yard, a source told Dawn on Sunday.
The Supreme Court has directed the Capital Development Authority to complete the demarcation of land owned by six private housing schemes in Sector E-11 in ten days, so that their land disputes could be resolved in the best interest of the plot owners, an official of CDA told Dawn on Thursday.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has failed to award the contract of I-15 development work despite the passage of months to the cancellation of earlier awarded contract for the purpose in same sector.
