LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Pervez Rathore has directed the Lahore police to take effective action against land grabbers.

He said a comprehensive list of land grabbers in Lahore had been prepared and a strong crackdown had been ordered against them in order to eliminate this menace.

He said Lahore had to be transformed into a city where the powerful could not snatch property from the weak.

He said if any land grabbing took place in any area of Lahore without any legal action being taken in this regard, the station house officer concerned would be held responsible.

According to a handout, he said this while addressing an open court held at the Capital City Headquarters on Wednesday.
