is booking form is free or i have to pay for booking form also

Booking form is totally free and there are no charges for it. You can download booking form from above mention link or from DHA Lahore Website. Simply fill it attached pay order in favor of DHA Lahore Ballot 2016

What does it mean. If some one want to apply for 10 marla plot what he do leave this field blank or he has to mention number
Dear Khurram Bhai,
Option number 1 & 2 mean that you have to be specific with plots code and plot # that for which plot you are applying for. It mean that you have to select a specific location. Now if you want to get chance for more then one location you have to submit new form for each location and have to pay processing fee for each plot. It mean you opportunity for selective location ballot only. If you will not successful for that specific location, DHA will not force you via ballot to get any other location. Your ballot will be done with specific location among other people who applied for the same location.
How ever I need to confirm it from DHA that if some want to avail chance to include in ballot of all 10 Marla plots category then he might can leave option 1 & 2 blank. But it look like that you have to fill the option 1 & 2.
Thats why DHA asking on term 8-a:
8. I certify that:-
a. The amount has been deposited at my will, it may remain with the Authority till the time of refund of the amount, free of interest / charges etc. If unsuccessful I further confirm that I shall not claim allotment of plot or compensation in lieu thereof.

I have confirm from DHA that you have to choose plot number and apply for specific plots. If you want to apply more then one plot you have to submit application for each plot separately and have to make deposit for each plot separately.
DHA also confirm that transfer will be open after 25% down payment and new buyer has to pay the full payment to get transfer of plot. For example if some paid 25% of down payment to confirm booking and then want to sell. The buy have to pay the reaming 75% lump sum for transfer. Or at what ever stage original allottee will be selling the plot buyer have to made the all remaining payment at the time of transfer what so ever it is.
However original allottee can avail 5% discount on lump sum payment
What is down payment for 1 kanal plot if I success in ballot

It depend on the total price of the plot. Please read term number 12 at booking form 2nd page:
12- The allotment of plot to successful applicants will be subject to payment of 25% of total price to be paid within 30 days of ballot result announced on DHA Website failing which allotment shall be treated as cancelled and 50% of down payment will be forfeited.
What are processing charges for 2 Marla commercial plots booking?

2 / 4 Marla commercial plots processing fee is Rs. 50,000 out of which Rs. 10,000 is non refundable and Rs. 40,000 is refundable

2 Kanal residential plot booking fee is Rs. 100,000 out of which Rs. 20,000 is non refundable and 80,000 is refundable.

Recommendations: It is always recommended to read the terms & conditions care fully before signing the document. Once you sign the document, it mean you are bound with terms & conditions, what so ever they are. Please read term # 10-c, 12 & 16-b carefully
too much processing fee, limited number of plots. only 224 residential plots and 92 commercial plots. I think there will be 100s of thousands applications so success ratio will be less then 1%
4 Marla plot only available in Phase 1 Sector K just 9 plots for 4 marla 🙁
Atif bhai in which category do you recommend to apply?
Ejaz bhai due to huge number of applications and limited number of plots the probability of success is less then 1%. There are total 224 Residential & 92 Commercial plots, if only 10,000 applications submitted still the success ratio is near 3%.
I will recommend to apply for 10 Marla residential & 2 Marla commercial due to highest in numbers (if some has to apply :))

Rather having same processing fee for all categories, I thinks it is a good approach to set different processing fees for different categories. Higher the processing fee low application submissions and success probability will more.

Commercial plots return is better then residential. I will recommend you to go for commercial. Keep in mind it is not confirm booking. It will be draw and success probability will be very low

On 16 February all details will be available as per advertisement by DHA Lahore. However if you have information before time we will share it here. I think it would not be too long but may be.

I dont think there will be any direct impact on Phase 9 Prism due to this booking. However for a very short time this impact may occur till ballot or first installment.

As in ad there is no quota mention for any category. I don’t think that there will be any quota. However if there is any quota we will share details here

Details will be available on 16th of February, 2016. Booking Forms (processing fee, total amount) will be available in DHA Office and all Askari Banks.
will it effect on prices of cash payment plots in market in the said phases 1 to 6
We might see a little effect on transactions in other Phase 7, 8, 9 and cash payment transaction in Phase 1 to 6 due this launch. But it would not go for long time. People usually forget thing shortly 🙂

It says in developed block Phase 1 – 6 it mean dha is offering developed plots. can we get possession on down payment and start construction and pay installments as per schedule
We are not sure that DHA will offer developed plots or new cutting in the developed area. I don’t think that DHA is following Bahria way. There is big difference in booking procedure of Bahria Town and DHA Lahore. Bahria do not ballot and give confirm booking, mean they book as many as they want. DHA book as per available quantity. Due to limited quantity and access booking, DHA goes for ballot.
