LAHORE: Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) has assured the gold art sector of full support for the development of a world class testing laboratory in Lahore which will be funded by the private sector.
Chief Executive Officer of SMEDA Yousaf Naseem Khokhar gave this assurance to a delegation of Gold Art Promotion Council-Pakistan and Lahore Division of Sarafa and Jewellers Association which called on him at SMEDA’s head office.
He applauded the role played by Gold Art Promotion Council for the promotion and development of the sector through publication of a journal and its active website. Ahmad suggested that SMEDA focus on artisans and technical people.
